A fanlisting

This site is listed in the Official Fanlistings.org, a place that lists all the fans of many certain subjects. A fanlisting is a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject. In other words, basically just a list of names of people who like a certain subject. This paticular fanlisting is for the relationship between, Mery Silverburgh and Solid Snake from the hit games, Metal Gear Solid (1998) and Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes.

Why a fanlisting for this relationship?

It's my favourite from the Metal Gear Solid series! Solid Snake is such a tough guy, a legend in Metal Gear Solid, and the idea of him falling in love is just really interesting. He was only used to worrying about only himself and his own safety that he found it amazing that he had grown to care and worry about another person as much as he did Meryl. And when he thought he lost her, he thought he failed as a soldier and a hero. Aww.

Why Love and War?

At first, this site was called "Eternally in love". But because Meryl is returning in Metal Gear Solid 4: The Guns of the patriots, I felt that title no longer fit the subject. So I thought about the game. The two are obviously in love, and they are in the middle of a war, put the two together, and you obviously have love and war. It sucks I know, but you're not here for the title, I'm sure.
