Resident Evil: Outbreak

Now then, here is some information about the games David King appears in. Resident Evil: Outbreak is the only game(s) David King has appeared in. I look at Resident Evil: Outbreak as a seperate series to the main games of Resident Evil, so it is highly unlikely that David King will appear in the main. But after Raccoon City inccident, David King will know about Umbrella's dirty little secret, so perhaps they'll want him and the rest of the Outbreak survivors dead... so perhaps there is hope that he'll return.

Resident Evil: Outbreak File #1

Outbreak: Outbreak is the first, shortest and easiest scenario in File #1. This level starts in J's Bar, and you eventually head out onto the streets of Raccoon City, but only to town square. When you reach town square, the characters learn that the Outbreak is everywhere and has infected many of the citizens. To complete this level, you have to head down to Town Square and use an explosive devise to kill and destroy all zombies in that area.

Below Freezing Point: A trip down memory lane. This level features the labs from Resident Evil 2. Sadly, Birkin is not down here. Anyway, the labs are frozen, and on your travels you will meet a giant moth (that captures you after awhile), and Hunters frozen in ice. When you turn the heating back on, the Hunters will defrost, and you have to fight them, or dodge them, which ever decision suits you. David King is useful in this level, as when Hunters break handguns, he can fix them, while other characters can't. The final boss of this level, is the G - Type. Its actually the largest boss in the game, to be honest.

The Hive: Take another trip, down memory lane. This scenario takes place in the Raccoon City Hospital where George Hamilton works, and where Carlos Oliveira, from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, finds the cure for Jill Valentine. This level is short, but it one annoying level, as the leech men appear at random, and you need to use the blood packs on them to stop them from pursuing you further. The last boss of this level, is a Leech Queen (Resident Evil Zero) rip off... and I had trouble with this boss, and this entire level.

Hellfire: This level is pointless, storyline wise. But it takes place in a hotel that is on fire, and you and your team mates must escape. You can climb around the narrow sides of buildings, climb escape ladders, and crawl through damaged walls. Zombies, however, are not the only beasts that give you a hard time in your attempt to escape. Lickers, are hanging around in this level. However, the Lickers in this game, and level are not really aggressive. They attack if you make any noise, and harsh movements. The final boss of this level is a strange looking Licker. The Regis Licker. It is a lady like licker, with short black hair (shoulder length), cloths and high healed shoes. Sounds silly, but still walks on all fours. We don't see it walk, it just hangs out of a ventilation hole, and if you get too close it will grab you with its tongue in attempt to strangle you. Tip:When Regis grabs you, call for help IMMEDIATLY. When you have destroyed Regis, and any other Licker, the fire men help you out, and you get to see most of Raccoon City on fire.

Decisions, Decisions: The final level in the game. George learns that he is the only one that can understand how to make "Daylight". The only possible cure against the T - Virus infection. You head to the Raccoon City University. There a huge variety of monsters await you, from zombies, bees, sharks, Hunters, and the Tyrant Thannatos. Later, Tyrant Thannatos stalks you throughout the University, and bursts through walls to get to you. We also see Nicholai Ginovaef, from Resident Evil 3.

Resident Evil: Outbreak File #2

Wild Things: The characters seek refuge in Raccoon City's Zoo. However, they made a mistake. As there they heard, and felt footstompsteps that shook the very ground they stood on. This level isn't very long. But its quite fun. We meet the Elephant, Lioness', Lion, Hyenas, crocodiles / aligators, parrots, plants, and small wasps. You lock the Elephant in its cage, but if it escapes, its the end of level boss. If it doesn't, the male Lion is the end of level boss. The characters hoped that when they got through the zoo, and onto the tram, that there would be a rescue helicopter waiting for them. Well, it was, but it had crashed, and everyone inside was killed.

Underbelly: Takes place in Raccoon City's subway. Jim Chapman's work place. Not a terribly exciting level. And the main enemies consist of Zombies, and giga bytes. The end of level boss is a huge Giga byte. If you make it in time, you get on the train to finish the level, if you miss the train, you collect the keys that were under the train when it left, and escape through the roof of the place.

Flashback: Head into the foggy forest, and follow a crazy old man, Al. You then get to an old building, and inside it is a hospital. Main enemies in this level are Zombies with vegetation stuck to them, and they're poisonous. Plants, mad axe man, and wasps. The Axe man stalks you throughout the level, the end of level boss is a giant plant, when you destroy it, it spits a woman out , this is Dorothy, the wife of Al. You now have limited time to escape the building before it collapses, as the big plant was supporting it. Through your escape route you meet Axe man. Defeat him, and he leaps away, escape the building and we discover that Al is indeed, the Axe man. And he goes into the basement to join Dorothy.

Desperate Times: Enter the Raccoon City Police Department and aid the Raccoon City Police in their last Stand. We get to meet Marvin Branargh, and Ben Bertolucci, both from Resident Evil 2. We also meet a Dog Handler, young cop Rita, and other cops scattered about the place. Well, remember in Resident Evil 2? And the keys that represented a deck of cards but there was no Joker Key? Well, in Kevin Ryman's locker, we find the Joker key used to open the kennels. Eventually, Rita gets help, and everyone gathers around the front lobby, then the zombie seige takes place. You must kill as many zombies as you can, then jump into hte van. Depending on how many you killed, you see Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield on the way to the Police station in a police car. Are Brilliant level. One of my favourites.

End of the Road: The final level of the game. Takes place in an Umbrella lab in Raccoon City. This is level, to me, is meant for David King. He joins forces with two Umbrella scientists, Carter, and Linda. You discover that the east wing is covered in Hunters. And Carter releases a Tyrant to help fight them off. Which is does... for awhile. The Tyrant later turns on the scientists and you, and it begins to chase you through the facility. You must retrieve the device that controls it, and temporarily defeat the Tyrant. When you find Linda, she tells you that the Capsule the Tyrant had destroyed was the only cure for the T - Virus. The underground then floods, and you escape to the surface. There you again, meet the Tyrant for the showdown. Defeat it, and meet Rodriguez in the helicopter, who tells you to find Linda. On you way to find Linda, we learn about 'Code XX' The destruction of Raccoon City with missiles. Here, make your decision. Go and find linda, or make a quick escape. If you go back to Rodriguez and the heliopter. The level ends there. However, go back to find Linda (Your time to get back to the helicopter will run out) at Apple Inn (Hellfire) and make your way back to office building and up the stairs of that place to the roof where the end of level boss awaits...

End?

Aw, is that the end? Damn. But we had fun didn't we, eh? Lets hope that there is a File #3.
